Shrink film is a type of packaging material that has been used in food processing for over 25 years. Shrink film is used on FlowWrap-type equipment (FlowVac/FlowBag) for cheese and meat markets. The use of shrink film allows to automate the product loading process, speed up the packaging process, reduce the number of SKUs (stock keeping units) and optimize logistics costs.
MPSYSTEM manufactures shrink film for maturation and storage of food products such as cheese, fresh and processed meat, poultry.
MPSYSTEM films are produced by co-extrusion and consist of several layers, each of which provides the film with appropriate properties (e.g. mechanical, barrier, optical, shrink, etc.). The PVdC layer is used as a barrier layer that provides appropriate barrier properties that are independent of product and environment humidity, which is an important advantage for food producers.
The modern equipment and exclusively raw materials approved for food contact are used for the film manufacturing.
The production process fully complies with all local and EU safety requirements and is continuously monitored by the Quality Department using laboratory equipment.
